FDR’s Little White House Inspires

Not far from the Little White House in Warm Springs, Georgia, is beautiful Callaway Gardens with its butterfly center and chapel nestled in the forest. The butterfly center is a tourist attraction where my mother worked until her death in 2007. The flowering plants and fluttering butterflies provide inspiration for photographers like myself.

Franklin Roosevelt’s Little White House is a museum and a memorial to the 32nd president. The home is small and rustic. Among the FDR memorablia on display are his 1938 Ford, stamps bearing his likeness, and historic photographs.
